Centennial Movie "Faces of the Port: Remembering 100 Years," a half-hour documentary on the history of the Port of Long Beach narrated by actor Robert Wagner, will get another play on the big screen on Saturday, August 27 at Granada Beach in Long Beach. The free screening, a Long Beach Sea Festival event sponsored by the Port and presented in conjunction with Alfredo's Beach Club, will also present "The Aviator." The movies begin at dusk but seating space is limited, so you are urged to come early to get a good spot. The 28-minute "Faces of the Port," a year in the making, features stories from two dozen of the people who helped shape the Port's history and success, as well as rare photographs and film footage from the archives of the Port and its partners.
